Fast Company Running Club

When?   Sundays at 9:00 am
Where? Fairbanks Centre, Shubie Park
Overview: Meet at Fairbanks for an hour-long run (or whatever’s on your schedule).
Meet back at the Fairbanks for refreshments. Runs are open to everyone.

Overview: Leave at 9am for 5k, 10k, or 15k regular running routes. Meet back at the Findlay Centre afterward for water and coffee.

Salt Marsh Trail Running Club

When? Wednesdays at 6:30 pm; Saturdays at 9:00 am
Where? Wednesdays at Cole Harbour High; Saturdays at the Red Barn on Bissett Road
Overview: We encourage all abilities to run with us.Wednesdays are generally a 1/2 hour to an hour at recreational pace, and Saturdays are usually 1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on abilities.

HRM - Halifax

Aerobics First

Overview: These runs are open to everyone. Meet at 6:00 and hit the road by 6:15 .

DogRunnin

When?   Thursday 6:30PM (May 28th - November 26th) for Canicross
Saturday 8:00AM (May 30th - November 28th) for Trail Running
Where? Various Trails around HRM.
Overview: Canicross: Our on leash club will cover distances of 5 - 10km on each run at different groomed trails around HRM each week. While not required, a running harness for your dog and a hands free leash or canicross system are strongly encouraged.
Trail Running: A great way for both you and your dog to enhance your running routine and to ensure all your socks go from white to brown. Each week we'll tackle different wilderness (usually single track, ungroomed) trails around HRM putting 5 - 10km on our trail shoes. These runs will be off leash so it's important your dog has reliable recall and gets along well with others.
Investment: $100.00. Or join both the DogRunnin Canicross and Trail Running clubs for an investment of $180.00.

Overview: Run 6K with us every Wednesday, rain or shine. All newcomers and paces welcome. Free, local, and good looking since 2013.

Overview: Interested runners are welcome to join our Facebook group...Timberlea Tundra Pounders..to keep up to date on possible runs. There are no fees involved and we welcome all levels of running ability.

Overview: We generally run 5k or 8k during the week and include hill repeats and some speed work. There is also a long run on Saturday mornings with various distances from 5k to 15k and beyond. These runs are open to everyone. Washrooms and water on site.

Overview: In conjunction with the Lunenburg County YMCA has a group run 10:00 am on Saturdays from the Bridgewater at YMCA on High Street, attached to the Nova Scotia Community College. Gather in the YMCA boardroom for the start. Open to all runners. Usually an hour run at a recreational pace.

Lunenburg

Lunenburg

When?   Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 6:15 am, and Saturday at 8:30 am
Where? Sawpit Road, Lunenburg
Overview: The weekday runs are short, 4.7 km, as most runners must be at work early. The Saturday run can be anywhere from 8 to 20 km depending on what everyone is training for. All ability levels are welcome, BUT WE ARE A WOMEN ONLY RUNNING CLUB and there is a gonad check before every run. There are 3 to 8 runners at each run depending on everyone's schedule. The pace varies according to ability. Our objective is to get the group out for some exercise, and a chat, and not to run anyone into the ground. But, anyone who doesn't show gets talked about.

Overview: Open to all runners. The Saturday runs are the better choice for recreational runners.
