Q: Why do you volunteer to be on the board of Run Nova Scotia?
A: I joined RNS when I moved to Dartmouth so I've been a part of it as long as I've run here and since I think volunteering is important I decided it was time to give back to this important group.
Q: How long have you volunteer on the Run Nova Scotia board?
A: This is my first year.
Q: What is your favorite Run Nova Scotia series event and why?
A: It is no longer on the Run NS calendar (but hope to have them back) but I'd say the Valley Harvest Marathon. It is a great time of the year so the course is lovely. The race swag is great and it feels like you always see your friends. Plus if you stick around long enough you can go watch the pumpkin races in the afternoon and eat Thanksgiving dinner. Who doesn't love a hard race followed by good food!
Q: Why do you run?
A: I run because it feels good and it makes my food taste better. I race because I love feeling like I've done something and I particularly like encouraging other people to have fun or to run harder... depending on what they might need to hear.
