Overview: This is a social running group for runners of all skill levels. The weekend run is any distance, any speed, depending on who shows up. Hill-Repeats and Speed Training alternate each month on Wednesday night at 6pm (contact club for locations).

The Bluenose Striders

Overview: In conjunction with the Lunenburg County YMCA has a group run 10:00 am on Saturdays from the Bridgewater at YMCA on High Street, attached to the Nova Scotia Community College. Gather in the YMCA boardroom for the start. Open to all runners. Usually an hour run at a recreational pace.

Lunenburg
The Back Harbour Broads
When? Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 6:15 am, and Saturday at 8:30 am
Where? Sawpit Road, Lunenburg
Overview: The weekday runs are short, 4.7 km, as most runners must be at work early. The Saturday run can be anywhere from 8 to 20 km depending on what everyone is training for. All ability levels are welcome, BUT WE ARE A WOMEN ONLY RUNNING CLUB and there is a gonad check before every run. There are 3 to 8 runners at each run depending on everyone's schedule. The pace varies according to ability. Our objective is to get the group out for some exercise, and a chat, and not to run anyone into the ground. But, anyone who doesn't show gets talked about.
